Monday night

10:00 P.M.

Dear Sweetheart:

I am just getting ready to go up to Bonnie's. Sure wish you were there and our dear sweet little baby girl. Sure miss you both. Have been busy today. Dad and I had breakfast – bacon and eggs – and he made himself a big pot of coffee and said it had been a long time since he enjoyed as good a breakfast. Started to come downtown with me this morning and just as we were about to get started he picked up Zane Grey's book “To The Last Man” and he stayed up home all day reading it. Never came downtown until tonight. Jo and Burrell invited both of us over to supper to fried chicken, etc. and sure enjoyed the good meal.

They had a musical recital at school house but I did not go over – understand it was real good.

Say you had better come up home about Nov. 6 th and stay the week out with me and we will take in the Bankers Group meeting at Alva Nov. 11 and then I will take you back and bring Bonnie home.

I am wanting Mr. Gibson to come up to the meeting and if he will we will take him home. I don't see how I can put off seeing you until Nov. 12 but I don't think it possible for me to come down before then. So you had better come up while Bonnie is there or she may want to go on over to Bison but she could come back and stay awhile maybe until you could make the trip.

Weather is ideal – really too hot in day time. Well goodnight Sweetheart – my own dear dear girl. Love to Bonnie, Boys and dear Maxine.

Your Boy
