10:00 P.M.

My own dear Dearie:

Received your dear letter tonight and was sure glad to get it. I did not phone for the reason that I felt sure you would know that we arrived all OK on account of getting started so early and just figured the expense. I am sorry that I disappointed you though.

I sure wanted to call you just as I want to call you each night. I wonder if I could get a rate on an every night call by the month? I think I will apply for a rate.

It has sprinkled here today and cloudy all day but had very little moisture. It has warmed up quite a little.

I hope you will get your cabinet or built in business. I think I told you that I stopped to see Meyer – a tall young man is the one I talked to and I told him what I wanted and also told him that I certainly did not like the treatment. Figured Mr. Meyer had a lot of business but also advised him that I had quite a little myself but I tried to attend to it. Glad they called you and hope you get what you want. I do not think anyone will be down Saturday, only Mrs. Jackson. If any come I will let you know if I have to phone.

The Yale bunch though I think will be going to the big Yale game as they wrote for B ( Burrell ) and Jo to come over for that game.

Bonnie had beef soup for supper. It was sure good. Wish you could have had some. I came in from the Bank about 9:00 o'clock and have been reading. Bonnie is writing a letter, I think to Ethel ( Ethyl ). She put up her blinds to the 3 little windows today.

You speak of the rain at Kingfisher. I started that way but on the road to Britton we ran into the firemen and their fire hose and they wouldn't let us across. I think there must have been a big fire at Britton. So I had to turn around and go by way of El Reno so I missed all the rain, only a little between the City and Yukon.

Well I am going to bed. I get cold in the night. I guess I will have to go between the blankets. With love to my baby Maxine and your own dear self.

Your Boy
